Curriculum

The program is comprised of eight educational sessions, which begin in September and conclude in May.  Participants meet one day each month for a full day’s curriculum centered around a main topic area and delivered via seminars, tours, lectures and briefings. Topics include: Social Environment, Healthcare, Media Blitz, Business & Industry, Tourism & Fire Science and SWAT Day.

A key program requirement is the completion of a large-scale community project, selected by the class participants and involving the talents of each individual to bring the project to fruition.
