The Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet Continues At
The Ginger Rogers Craterian Theater With A New Twist

The 89th Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet will
take place on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at The Ginger Rogers Craterian Theater in
Medford. Attendance increased 30% during last year’s gala event, making the theater
venue a desirable location to continue this popular evening.
For almost a century, our community leaders that come together to recognize the talents
and achievements of prominent companies and outstanding individuals who have not only
progressed in business, but have succeeded in setting a great example of community
involvement, and in the process have become leading advocates in our community.
Awards to be delivered during this formal event include the Future First Citizen
Scholarship Award presented by Umpqua Bank, New Member of the Year and Member of the Year,
Retailer of the Year, Business Excellence, Outstanding Corporate Citizen in non-profit and
for-profit categories, and First Citizen.
The black tie optional affair will begin with a social, dining, and new this year,
complimentary wine tasting beginning at 5 p.m. from Agate Ridge Vineyard, Corks Wine Bar
and Bottle Shoppe, RoxyAnn Winery, Valley View Winery and Weisinger’s Winery.
Seating will be available both in Vogel Plaza as well as in the theater lobby area.
Delectable selections of popular menu items will be prepared by Confident Caterers,
Jacksonville Inn, Quality Catering and Soup to Nuts until 6:30pm. All catering stations
will be strategically placed in different corners lining the perimeter of the plaza to
decrease congestion around food lines.
Portable bars will be present in the plaza as well as in the theater
lobby. Assorted soda, beer, water and coffee will be available. Glasses of wine are
offered for purchase at the winery tables in the plaza only. Prior to attendees being
ushered into the theater to take their assigned seats in time for the awards program to
begin promptly at 7pm, guests have the opportunity to indulge in assorted toffees provided
by Cary’s of Oregon and chocolate truffles provided by Harry & David. Please be
