Excellence in Business Awards
"Taking Care of Business for Ninety Years"

The Chamber's Annual Awards will be the year's largest gathering of southern Oregon's brightest and most successful business leaders. Our theme, "Taking Care of Business for Ninety Years," honors those who have contributed to the local business community for many years, and those who are pioneering new paths in the local economy. The Chamber expects to have over 330 of the city's most prominent business minds in attendance for an extraordinary night of networking, fine dining, and entertainment at the Rogue Valley Country Club on Thursday, September 10, 2009.

For almost a century, The Chamber  and our community leaders have come together to recognize the talents and achievements of prominent companies and outstanding individuals who have not only progressed in business, but have succeeded in setting a great example of community involvement, and in the process have become leading advocates in our community. This stellar group of leaders who are changing the business landscape in southern Oregon will be honored on this special evening.

Awards to be delivered during this formal event include:

                                New Member of the Year
                                Member of the Year

                                Retailer of the Year

                                Business Excellence in small, medium and large categories

                                Outstanding Corporate Citizen for profit and not-for-profit categories
                                First Citizen

The black tie optional affair will begin with a social reception on the terrace overlooking one of the most magnificent views in the area. Attendees will have the opportunity to mix and mingle while indulging in delectable hors d’oeurves and graciously donated southern Oregon wines. Later in the evening, guests will be served an exquisite sit-down dinner in the Valley Ballroom under a beautiful canopy.

The awards program begins promptly at 7 o’clock.
